For thirty years the London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT) has presented the stories of the world to every corner and community of our city, pioneering theatre on the cutting-edge and setting the benchmark for internationalism in the arts. 

LIFT is proud to be one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations. However, our always ambitious and unique artistic programme depends on the generosity of individuals, trusts & foundations and companies. Every gift and partnership makes a huge difference to realising our vision, enabling us to curate and commission bold and inspiring artists to tell the stories of the world, tackle convention and bring sparkle to the capital.

LIFT 2012, its programme of 20 productions, with its 277 volunteers, its 352 participants, its 169 international artists, and the wonderful 43,000 people who came to see it, is the springboard for what we’re going to do next. We look forward to sharing it all with you.
